Hi Folks, it's me Chester! My breeding days are over and I'm ready to live out my dream...this is where you come in.

I'm a happy-go-lucky guy. They say I'm a Cavalier but if you look close, I think I'm part Shih Tzu too. I even have the cutest freckles on my legs and feet.

Though I'm still adjusting and a bit shy yet, I love people and other dogs. Toys are awesome and I like to spend time with the other dogs in my foster home. I'm doing great at potty training and I've been learning leash walking and stairs. Nothing tops sleeping in my foster parent's bed though. I get so excited at bedtime!!

If you're considering adopting me, please note that I would need a fenced-in yard or to be on a leash at all times as I do not know boundaries quite yet. I come when called and am learning sit; I lay down instead. While another dog in the home is a plus, it's not a requirement.

Now who is ready to make my dreams come true? I can't wait to meet you!!!

Every dog is different, but here is some information on what bringing a breeder dog into your home can be like and some supports they may need to transition into their new life! While it can be challenging at first, it is incredibly rewarding to see these dogs grow and come out of their shells. Please give them a chance if you are able! https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/puppy-mill-rescue-dogs-transition-home-life
