| What can I say about Tuesday! This sweet old guy, in his perfect tuxedo is looking for a quiet home where he can live out his golden years. Tuesday is shy, gets startled easily and hides, but soft talk and pets can bring him out: he relishes in pets, closes his eyes in joy and sometimes he even squeaks in delight. We don't know how long Tuesday was on the streets but his time outdoors took a toll on him. He has diabetes, that is now under control with insulin, one of his ears is crinkled and completely closed due to chronic, untreated ear infections. He is partially deaf and has some dental issues, which are being addressed. He is also FIV+. If you can find it in your heart to open your home to this sweet, old soul and looking for a companion who is a total couch potato, Tuesday is your cat: he will be eternally grateful for every meal and every pet you give him. All Bronx Tails cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia (negative for both) and are litterbox reliable and loving toward people. Note: in the instance a kitten is still too young to spay/neuter at the time of adoption, we can help you arrange for it. We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full. We will also help with tips and methods for introducing the cat(s) to other pets, if needed. |
